X-rays give your doctor an accurate starting point to make your
chiropractic care more precise. The information that these x-rays
produce proves useful to both you and your chiropractor. Much
has been done to make this process safe for you, the patient, by
minimizing your exposure. These things include:
- Taking only necessary views of the body
- New Digital X-ray equipment
- Having regular government inspections
- Using shields to protect sensitive areas of the body
Other types of imaging tools include Magnetic Resonance Imaging
or MRI and the CAT Scan (Computer Aided Tomography). These methods provide
information about the health of your body's soft
tissues and the bones. For more information about these techniques ask Dr.
Foster or any of our helpful office staff.
